Age 86 passed away Thursday May 8, 2025, at Johnson Health Care Center in Carol Stream, IL, late of Plainfield, IL. Grace was a Real Estate Broker and a Caldwell Banker, Honig Bell Manager in the Lockport area for many years. She is survived by her loving children Linda (Jeff) Sing, Kathy (Jay) Panozzo, Grace (Steve) Reis, John (Flor) Rio, Anne (Bob) Brooks, George (Diane) Hoeksema, Bill Hoeksema, and Phil (Anne) Hoeksema; twenty Grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband William Hoeksema, sisters Eileen (Emil) Damian and Dorothy (Gene) Marschalk, also one grandson and one granddaughter. Visitation Monday May 12, 2025, from 3pm to 7pm with a service to begin that evening 6pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544. Services conclude at the funeral home, cremation rites to be accorded. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) appreciated.
