Grace Moore Obituary
Grace Wynell Pace Moore of Mobile, Alabama passed away peacefully on September 2nd,2025 at the age of 93. She was surrounded by family and friends in a Mobile Nursing home. Born on August 04,1932 in Ashville, NC, Grace was the daughter of Nell Hopkins Pace and William Kinsman (W. K.) Pace, Senior. She grew up in Canton, MS. In 1952, She married Paul Allen Moore, Sr. in Pensacola, Florida. She had three children, Paul Allen Jr., Ray Kinsman, and Amelia Denise. When Paul Sr. suddenly left this Earth on April 12, 1974, Grace became the matriarch of the family and dedicated the remainder of her years in service to God, her children, and grandchildren.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and five siblings. She is survived by sisters Carolyn Marchant, and Shirlene Mathews.
Her memory lives on through her children and her grandchildren: son: Paul Allen Jr. and Anna Moore, parents of Mary Dobson and grandparents of Christopher and Benjamin Dobson; son: Ray and Suzanne Moore, parents of Alahna Moore; and daughter: Amy and Shane McBryde, parents of Daniel and Grace McBryde.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and a kind, loving friend to all who knew her. A celebration of Grace's life will take place at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Saturday September 13th at 10:00 am. Family viewing will be 8:30 am, visitation 9:00 am, service 10:00 am.
