It is with profound sadness that the family of Grace Elizabeth Reinhart, age 24, announce that Grace left this world on December 7, 2024, at UW Hospital in Madison, WI, after experiencing severe asthmatic complications. Grace is preceded in death by all four of her grandparents, Thomas Reinhart and Florence Haefner, and William and Carolyn (Pachal) Perrine; paternal uncles Thomas, Gerald, George, and Steven Reinhart; maternal uncles William Perrine, Jr. and Andrew Russo; and a baby sister who never took a breath, Gloria Reinhart. Grace is survived by her parents, Mark and Julie (Perrine) Reinhart; two brothers, Miles Perrine and Jakob Reinhart; her boyfriend, Kyle Wingler; uncles Kevin (Brian), Ian (Pauline), Frank (Debbie), and Chris; aunts Debbie (Scott) and Terri; and many cousins, other family members, and friends. Grace, though only 24 years old, lived a full life and had many adventures during her time on earth. That was Grace's way. Grace attended Edgerton community schools and graduated from Edgerton High School in May 2018. Grace was a member of Girl Scout Troop 3376 for 7 years and had great times camping and glamping with her troop, and always loved that her mom was her troop leader. Grace loved choir and theater and participated in several concerts, musicals, and plays. Grace was a fabulous singer and competed in State competitions. Grace was honored to walk with her band and choir classmates in the Veteran's Day Parade in New York City. Grace also participated in the student exchange program and after hosting a Costa Rican exchange student, she was able to travel to Costa Rica as an exchange student. Grace began working at McDonald's as a teenager and was a manager at the time of her death. Grace was a very dedicated worker from the moment she started working. She was often known to lighten the mood to make work more enjoyable. That was Grace's way. For the past three years, Grace attended the Midwest Women's Herbal Conference and Mycelium Mysteries. Grace was always excited about attending these conferences and making connections with the other women who attended. Grace made many friends at these events and earned the role of Dining Hall Coordinator. Grace was known for jamming good music and making the kitchen a fun place to be. That was Grace's way. Three years ago, Grace and her brothers, Miles and Jakob, took a cross-country road trip with their uncles Kevin and Brian, and she was able to see all the majesty of the West. During the trip, Grace would stand too close to the edge of the canyons, making her brothers and uncles incredibly nervous. That was Grace's way. Grace loved many things---Squishmallows, collecting bones, trinkets and other odd collectibles, getting tattoos, thrifting, listening to music (all kinds but Korn and The Cramps were her favorite bands), attending concerts with her mom or her boyfriend, creating delicious and unique meals, her cat Loki, redecorating a discarded dollhouse with her dad, her family, and countless other people in her life. Grace loved her family and friends fiercely and unconditionally. If Grace loved you, she would love you forever. Grace once told Kyle that you don't actually love someone unless you love them no matter what they do, or how long they have been out of your life. Grace left an impact on those she met because she always made space for people and accepted and loved others where they were at, without judgement. That was Grace's way. Grace was a bright light in this world and the day she died, the world got a little darker. It brings the family comfort to know that Grace's light will continue to shine on through those of us who have loved her and been loved by her. Knowing Grace and loving Grace made all of us better people. Grace was an organ donor, and she was able to give four people the gift of life in time for Christmas.
