Grace Louise Totton

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, our Nana, our Great-Grandmother, and Friend.
Grace Totton passed into the loving arms of Jesus on October 25 at 91 years old. Grace was born on May 31, 1933 in McClean County, Kentucky, to Lorene and James Potter Thomas.
She is survived by her daughter, Andee (Royce) English of Paducah, sons, Jim (Peggy) and John (Karen) Totton of Madisonville and Henderson, respectively, Grandchildren Haley Massad of Chicago, Luke Massad of Louisville, Marshall and Rachel Totton of Henderson, Heath Hunter of Stratford, Virginia, Adam Hunter of Sturgis, Anthony Hunter of Hiram, Georgia, several nieces and nephews, and eight great-grandchildren. Grace was happily married to Earl Totton for 54 years and was preceded in death by him and her four siblings.
She was a beloved, longtime member and pianist at Countryside Baptist Church of Morganfield. Grace was the true embodiment of her name. She personified the love of Christ in every action, speaking kindly of everyone and showing compassion to all.
Funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, October 28, 2024 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Bro. Jimmy Terrell will officiate. Visitation will be 10 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.
