Grace Zeldenrust

Grace (Diete) Zeldenrust, 97, of Wyckoff, NJ, formerly of Midland Park was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 with her family by her side. Grace was born in Holland and immigrated from Warns, Friesland Netherlands to the United States with her husband, David, in 1948. Grace was the director of catering for the Market Basket until retirement. She was a member of Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park, NJ. Grace was predeceased by her beloved husband David (Douwe) Zeldenrust. Beloved mother of Richard Zeldenrust and his wife Liz of Medford, NJ, Marcella Bokma and her husband Bob of Winchester, CA, Florence Meaux and her husband Leon of Chula Vista, CA, Steve Zeldenrust and his wife Debbie of Aurora, CO and Anita Hazen and her husband Tom of Oakland, NJ. Loving Beppa of Robert and wife Cindy, David and wife Jen, Leon II, Kyle and wife Katie, Jacob and wife Kim, Rachel and husband CJ, Amanda and husband TJ, and Lindsay and husband Juan. Adored great grandmother of Dylan, Riley and husband Jason, Braden, Kayla, Khloe, Kaleb, Eliana, Maeve, Noah, and Sebastian. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 1:00- 3:30PM with a prayer service from 3:30-4:00pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S-113 Farview Ave., Paramus. Donations may be made in her memory to the Faith Reformed Church, 95 Prospect Street Midland Park, NJ 07432.
