Grady T Bagwell of Ellenwood, Ga. passed away on January 8, 2025. He was born on October 21, 1930 in Greenville, SC to the late James and Mary Bagwell. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, He was a loyal and loving friend. He proudly served his country for over 20 years in the US Army. He loved the Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs but most of all he loved the Lord. He was a faithful member of the Church of God of Prophecy and loved his Pastor Richard Bartlett.
He is preceded in death by the love of his life Josephine Bagwell and his 2 precious daughters Barbara Glisson and Patricia Rutledge. He is survived by his remaining loving children Mary {Roger} Register of Locust Grove, Doug (Trisha) Bagwell of McDonough, Vickie White of Ellenwood. Ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren that he loved unconditionally and was so proud of. one sister Del Woolstrum of Gastonia NC. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on January 14, 2025. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior. The interment will take place after the funeral at Sherwood Memorial Park. There will be full military honors.
