Mr. Grady Dale McClain, age 64 of Lawndale, NC, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 12, 2025.
Born September 15, 1960, in Greenville County, SC, Dale was the son of the late Adolphus Grady McClain and Melda Jean Caldwell McClain and was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Phyllis Setzer.
Dale is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lisa Setzer McClain, and two brothers, Dennis McClain and wife Kay of Mooresboro, NC, Darral McClain of Ellenboro, NC, his father-in-law, Junior Setzer of Shelby, NC, a niece, Mandy Newton of Statesville, NC, a nephew, Steven McClain of Ellenboro, NC, and numerous great nieces and one great great niece.
Dale was a loving husband, brother, and friend to all. He drove and owned late model stock cars where he raced at Hickory Motor Speedway. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
A visitation will be held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm Friday, May 16, 2025, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Derek Greene, Rev. Kris Patton, and Rev. Kyle Patton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers are Steven McClain, Danny Smart, Rick Whittaker, Mark Lynn, Jeff Fitzgerald, and James Roberson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, P.O. Box 1525, Ranson, WV 25438.
