Grady Neil Swaringen, 88, passed away Tuesday July 8, 2025 at his home. Grady’s wishes were to be cremated and his family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
Grady was born January 16, 1937 in Matador, Texas to the late Faye (Spears) Swaringen and Claude Cristol Swaringen and grew up on a farm outside of Dickens, Texas. He moved to Graham in 1970 to become the General Manager of the local cable TV system.
Survivors; three sons, Russell Swaringen of San Antonio, Steve Swaringen and wife Christy of Rockwall, and Douglas Swaringen of Graham; four grandchildren also survive.
Grady was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Faye Swaringen, brother Cristol Swaringen and a sister Betty Evans.
