Grant Teague, Jr. ObituaryGRANT TEAGUE, JR., 77 OF Darlington, MD, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Calvert Manor, Rising Sun, MD. Together for over 30 years, he was the life companion of Nancy Lee (Haga) Joline.
Born on March 6, 1948 in Harford County, MD, he was one of eleven children born to the late Grant Teague and Martha Elizabeth (Doyle) Teague and a 1967 graduate of North Harford High School. Grant had worked as a carpenter for Plumb Construction in Jarrettsville, MD for many years. He was a very talented trim carpenter as well as wood worker. He had created beautiful pieces of furniture, wooden snowflake Christmas decorations, walking stick and canes from Cyprus wood. An artist, he could paint, draw or when he attended craft shows, he would sketch items he and Nancy would admire to come home and create them in his shop. Grant was also asked to paint designs or automobiles and trucks.
A US Army veteran, Grant served from June 28, 1967 and was discharged on June 19, 1970. At the graveside committal on Monday, military honors will be presented by US Veterans, the York County Veterans Honor Guard in honor of his service.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Curtis, Charles, Alan, James, Sam and Roger Teague.
