Thomas Gregory "Greg" Hobbs, 41, of Flaherty, KY passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 8, 2025 at his residence.
Born into a family with deep roots in agriculture, Greg enjoyed working on the family farm. His hands were rarely still, as he was always found fixing vehicles of any kind, a testament to his knack for understanding the intricacies of machinery and his creative problem-solving skills. Greg was also an avid fan of the University of Kentucky & enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. But more than anything he was a devoted father & husband.
He was preceded in by his paternal grandparents, Ed & Ann Hobbs; and a maternal grandfather, Jack Sturgeon.
He is survived by his wife, Megan Hobbs; three children, Thomas Lane Hobbs, Turner Quade Hobbs, Cambree AnnRose Hobbs; his father, Tommy Hobbs (Annette); his mother, Jenny Hobbs (Larry Faulkner); two brothers, Chad Hobbs (Kelly) & their son, Cole, Byron Hobbs; a maternal grandmother, JoAnn Sturgeon Bondurand; and a host of extended family & friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, March 11, 2025 and be from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Flaherty, KY.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Greg to an account for his children's college fund that will be set up at a future date.
