Greg Poumakis

Greg Poumakis, 67, of Manchester (Salem), NH passed away unexpectedly at home on September 16, 2025.

Greg was on born on December 30th, 1957 in Angola, IN, but spent most of his childhood in Florida. The Poumakis family was notoriously well-travelled and Greg made life-long friends and built bonds almost everywhere he went. Greg lived a life marked by kindness, integrity, and an unwavering faith in Jesus. He had a servant's heart. He was always ready to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or simply show up with quiet strength. His deep love for the Lord guided everything he did and touched everyone who knew him. Greg was also a true and faithful friend. He made the time to reach out, to call just to check in, and to remind people they were cared for. His steady presence and genuine concern made everyone who knew him feel seen and valued.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lou and Joan Poumakis (Haggerty), his son Owen, and his beloved labradoodle " Reba"

Greg will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 Years Kathleen (Doyle); his children: Amanda Poumakis + Timothy Cestrone, Megan + Matthew Gaw, and Daniel Poumakis + Tia Carbone; his Sister Michelle + Ed Brill; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Known as " Papa " to his four grandchildren, who were the whole world to him. He will forever be missed by Louis + Rose Cestrone, and Cohen + Cooper Gaw.

Services will be held on Sunday, September 21st at Carrier Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham NH. Visitation will take place from 3 to 4pm and the service will begin at 4pm at the funeral home.
