Gregg Edwin Collins, 72, died peacefully in his home surrounded by friends and family on Monday, January 5, 2026. He was born March 30, 1953 to Hugh and Shirley Collins in Wichita, Kansas.
Gregg worked as a paint contractor for over 30 years until he suffered a career ending injury on August 1, 2002. Gregg and Pam continued ownership of Collins Painting and managed rental properties until fully retiring.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Pamela Kay Collins; children, Sheryl Collins of Wichita, Kendra (Rob) Kanaga of Derby, Keith (Shay) Collins of Mulvane; grandchildren, Katie, Karlie, Reed, Keith, Jr., Otis; brother, Mark (Tammy) Collins of Wichita and half-sister, Sonya Collins of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Gregg was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Ray and Agatha Haring and half-brother, Jace Collins.
Memorial service is 10:00 am Saturday, January 10, 2025 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, KS 67037 followed by a 3:00 pm graveside at the Sego Cemetery, Kingman, Kansas.
