Gary, Boots and I are saddened by the passing of your dear brother, Greg. I was a close friend to your dad when we taught together at Kenilworth Middle and got to know Greg then.
May God Bless and Comfort you and your family.
Sincerely,
JoAnne Garland

I met Greg here in Topeka when he arrived to open a branch office under Bill Whittle for ALW & Assoc. That has been 30+ years ago.
We were also fortunate to become friends with Mom,known as Dot and his ornery 'lil brother Gary and his beautiful wife Pam.
Circumstances took Greg back to his beloved Louisiana. We had a lot of fun times while he was here and continued our adventures through my several visits over the years. The last visit was June 2014. I was so pleased Greg was able to meet my wonderful daughter Kaelin Mae (now 11) We had a great time and were able to provide Greg with some more "T" stories which he loved to share.
Just last week a post card from Greg dated 8/24/87 fell from a folder retrieved from my archives. It's from his visit to Navarre Beach,Fla. with friends Marcine and Sherri. Typically the note included a reminder to watch LSU vs. Texas A&M Sept. 5 ESPN 6:00 PM.......that was our buddy Greg. I Love him and I know we will miss his quite gentle, spiritually centered 'ole jock that he was. I believe I know where he is,he earned it !
Our prayers and sympathy go out to all family and friends of Big Greg, the guy from Baton Rouge who went from point guard to pulling guard in one career !

I meet Greg at Southside Y. He would pass by me on his way to the steam room. He was such a sweet and wonderful person. Please watch over us from heaven!

Gary, I'm so sorry to hear of your family's loss. I've been out of town, but saw what friends posted online. It's been a long time since high school, but you and Greg and your dad were all a part of our Lee High School memories. I hope you are doing well and know you and Greg's family are in my prayers. I met Greg through mutual friends over 20 years ago and would run into him from time-to-time over the years. He was one of the kindest, nicest people I have ever met. I saw him a few months ago at the "Y" on Perkins and am so happy I was able to chat with him for a few minutes. Sending my prayers to his family and to Greg so that he may rest in peace.

Gary, sorry for your loss. Greg was a good friend over the years and I enjoyed working with him on appraisals. The past 3 or 4 years we had more time to just chat about life. I enjoyed his conversation with me.
