Greg was born on September 3, 1963, in Hammond, Indiana, the son of Granville and Edna (Hedge) Ball. He graduated from Calumet High School with the Class of 1982. For the past 15 years, Greg worked as a shipping manager for Sonco Pipe & Tube in Hammond. He was known for his skill and passion in woodworking, a craft he enjoyed for more than 20 years.
Greg is lovingly survived by his daughter, Amanda Mantaporn; granddaughter, Cadence Mantaporn; siblings, Betty (Connie) Ball, Granville Ball Jr., Kermit (Julie) Ball, and Angela (Gene) Meyer; and brother-in-law, Brett Anderson. He will also be remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In keeping with the family's wishes, cremation has taken place. Integrity Funeral Service & Cremation has been entrusted with the arrangements, and no services are scheduled at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Greg's name to Locking Arms Suicide Awareness at PO BOX 662 Jasper IN 47547
