Brenda Hanno Obituary

Brenda was born on June 14, 1964, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, the daughter of Edwin and Marilynn (Reuhl) Tews. She was a proud graduate of Bloom Trail High School, Class of 1982. For 40 years, Brenda dedicated her career to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant with Franciscan Health.
On August 31, 1996, Brenda married the love of her life, William J. Hanno, who survives. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family.
Brenda was a proud member of the Roselawn American Legion Auxiliary. She found great joy in the outdoors-bird watching, hiking, and enjoying nature. She also had a deep love for music and enjoyed following local bands and talent.
Brenda is survived by her husband, William Hanno; her daughters, Sara Jane Hanno and Samantha Lynn Hanno; and her siblings, Barbara (Victor) Melillo, William (Sandy) Tews, Bruce (Rosa) Tews, and Bonnie Lindemann.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Integrity Funeral Service of Wheatfield for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.
