Gregory Barr Obituary
Born July 26th 1965 in Baltimore MD, he was the son of the late Ernest and Phyllis Barr.
He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1983. He was retired from Maryland State of Corrections. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Fort Ashby, WV. He was a leader in the Royal Rangers for many years and served various roles.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Beeman Barr; children, Amanda Barr of Hagerstown MD, Elijah Barr and wife Zoey Barr of Fairfax VA, Arie Barr; sister, Kristi Haller and husband Dave Haller of Hagerstown MD.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Winfield and Gladys Schamel.
Family and friends may pay their respects at Bethel Assembly of God, 17908 Oldtown Rd SE, Oldtown, MD 21555, on Saturday June 11, 2022 with visitation from 1pm till 4pm and services beginning at 4pm. Pastors Steve Nelson and Wes Beahm will officiate services.
In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to your local Royal Rangers organization.

I want to express my deepest sympathies to family and friends from Mom (Eileen Schamel) and I. I would have been at the service had I known, we never got to spend enough time together talking about the family genealogy.
