Gregory John Carlson, age 65 of White Bear Lake died by suicide on 2/20/2022.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Mary, his wife, Kathy, nephews, Paul and David. He is survived by his adopted children; Stacy, Cory (Becky), and Gretchen (Paul) as well as 9 grandchildren, Zachary (RaeAnn), Caleb, Joshua, Emily, Brighton, Noella, Ezra, Andrew, and Lily, and two twin great-granddaughters, Eden and Isla.
Greg was involved in recovery programs and did a lot of volunteer work for MN Teen Challenge, the Union Gospel Mission, his faith groups, and many individuals. He was a great salesman, enjoyed motorcycles, cars, fishing, candy stores, popcorn, and traveling with his wife while she was alive. He struggled with severe depression most of his life and was estranged from his family and others these past several years.
We will be having a private memorial gathering in honor of his life at a later date. Any cards or memorials should be directed to MN Teen Challenge in his name.

Greg was a good man. We had a lot of fun together going to all places that had sea food dinners which included crab legs and his favorite oysters. I will miss him alot as he was always very enjoyable to spend time with. R.I.P. MARINE!
