Gregory Wayne Coffey, age 61 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at his home.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on November 26, 1961 the son of Teddy Coffey and Judy Florence (Draughn) Loudermilk. Greg had worked as a truck driver and attended the Marshes Siding Church of God.
His mother, Judy Florence Loudermilk; brothers, Randy Richards, Adam Coffey, and Eric “Frog” Wilson; sister, Phoebe Coffey; and granddaughter, Madison Tucker precedes him in death.
Survivors include his father, Teddy Coffey and wife, Myrtle of Whitley City, Kentucky; children, Victoria Tucker and husband, Steven of Whitley City, Kentucky and Dustin Coffey and wife, April of Pine Knot, Kentucky; brothers, Mark Coffey (Velma) of Whitley City, Kentucky, Teddy Douglas Coffey (Melanie of Sarasota, Florida, and Michael Coffey of Sarasota, Florida; sisters, Teresa Bryant (Harold) of Whitley City, Kentucky, Debbie Smith (Larry) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Wanda Cecil (Jody) of Helenwood, Tennessee; grandchildren, Gabby Tucker, Matthew Tucker, Alyssa Tucker, Autumn Tucker, Shane Meadows, and Adam Meadows; and great grandchildren, Oakland Buis and Brooklynn Buis.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Harry Watters officiating. Burial to follow in the Wiborg Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Saturday at the Funeral Home.
