Age 65, passed away unexpectedly at home on Fri. May 12, 2023. Born on Jan. 21, 1958 in Montour Falls, son of Richard & Shirley Campbell Comfort. Greg was a long-time employee as a truck driver for Penn's Best in Meshoppen, PA. He married his best-friend and companion, Donna Frank, in July of 1994. Together, they shared 28 years of marriage until his untimely passing. Greg was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, spending time on Seneca Lake and the St. Lawrence River. Most of all, he treasured the time spent with his beloved family, especially being a "great poppa" to his cherished grandchildren. In addition to his loving wife and constant companion, Donna, Greg is survived their son, Joshua (Shennelle) Brockway; seven grandchildren, Calex, Logan, Alexis, Quinn, Taylor, Ardic and Memphis; one great-granddaughter on the way; siblings, Rick (Rhonda) Comfort, Kevin (Julie) Comfort, Anita (Dorance) Sampson and Dawn Smith; in-laws, Jean (Les) Turner, Sayre, PA; Glenn (Gail) Frank and James (Doreen) Frank and Jack Blagg. In addition to his mother(?), Greg was predeceased by a daughter, Carisa Buzako; and mother-in-law, Erma Jean Brewer Frank. In honor of Greg's wishes, there will be no public services.
