Gregory Lynn Cox, 66 of Broadway passed away Tuesday December 30,2025. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday January 10, 2026, at Broadway Town Cemetery.
Greg was born in Lee County, a son of the late Calvin Jones Cox Sr and Ruth Cameron Cox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Calvin “Jay” Cox Jr. Greg loved spending time with his family especially his boys and grandchildren. He loved gathering with his friends, listening to music and sharing stories. Greg loved to tinker or repair things that others could not fix. He never turned anyone down when it came to working on cars and trucks.
Greg is survived by his sons Gregory Andrew Cox and significant other Katherine and Preston Lynn Cox and wife Abby, grandchildren Avery, Lennon, Oliver Wagner; sister Cynthia Bussey (Bob) of Greensboro; nephew Owen Bussey; and Dee Anne Chester.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jud Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, Tn 38105 or charity of your choice.
