Gregory Fetchko Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ruby Memorial Funeral & Cremation Services on Oct. 31, 2023.
With great sadness, Gregory Scott Fetchko of Newfield, NJ left this world on October 31, 2023 at the age of 52 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Greg was born on December 2, 1970 and served in the US Marine Corps from 1989 until he was honorably discharged in 1993. During his time in the military, Greg served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm as an M1A1 Tank Crewman in the 1st Tank Battalion, where he earned numerous accolades and honors for his service.
Greg was a modest man who enjoyed serving others both on and off duty. Though stubborn by nature, those close to him describe him as a caring man with a big heart and strong convictions who loved helping people. Greg was a lover of literature and animals and could often be found at home with his rescue animals, for whom he strived to provide a comfortable life.
Greg was predeceased by his father, Leonard; his son, Jayden; and his step-son, Cory, all of whom he held very dear. He is survived by his loving wife and partner of sixteen years, Theresa; his mother, Joyce; his sister, Lisa; his nephew, John, and John's wife, Shelby; his step-sons, David, Stephen, and John, and David's wife and daughter, Stephanie and Lillian. Most importantly to Greg, he is survived by the "twenty-eight paws."
As per Greg's request, no funeral or memorial services will be held.
Arrangements are under the respectful care and direction of Funeral Director: Christine Cuoco of Ruby Memorial. Family & Friends may offer prayers and condolences at: www.rubymemorialhome.com
