Gregory (Greg) Gleason, 55, of Loveland CO passed away on May 6th 2024.
A rosary will be held at 10:00am on Thursday May 16th 2024 with the funeral immediately following. Both will take place at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1730 W 12th St, Loveland, CO 80537. There will be a private burial at a later date.
Greg was born July 31st 1968 in Hastings NE to James Gleason and Charleen Gleason (Himmelberg). Greg graduated from St Cecelia High School in 1987 and Hastings College in 1991. He married his high school sweetheart Michelle (Jarosik) July 05, 1991, and they had three children Ashley, Allison and Gavin. He had a successful career at Universal Forrest Products for 30 years in various roles with the last being General Manager of Operations. Gregory is a former member of the Knights of Columbus 1123 and a devout Catholic. Greg enjoyed traveling and golfing, but most of all Greg enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his granddaughter's extracurricular activities. He was a great dude.
Greg is preceded in death by his father James (Jim) Gleason, father in-law Donald Jarosik, brother James (Curt) Gleason, grandparents George & Hildra Himmelberg and Clifford & Cleone Gleason, uncles Clyde and Ron Gleason, and aunt Linda Stone.
Greg is survived by his wife, Michelle Gleason; daughters, Ashley (Joshua) Thomas and Allison (Tryston) Compton; son, Gavin Gleason (Sara Jones); granddaughters, Kinsley Thomas, Kamrey Thomas, Josie Thomas, Elsie Thomas, Tatum Compton; mother, Charleen Gleason; brothers, Charles Gleason and Robb Gleason; sisters, Rita (Mike) Leininger, Patty (Greg) Sitorius, Diane (Chris) Minihane; Mother in law, Jeralyn Jarosik; sister in-law, Nancy Gleason; brother's in-law; Kevin (Deb) Jarosik, Troy (Laura) Jarosik, and Trent Jarosik; sisters' in-law; Sherri Zach, Linda (Russ) Thaut), Lori (Tim) Farmer, Donnalene Gleason, Tammy (Kendall) Hartley, Amy (Troy) Reed; and many aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greg Gleason memorial fund. A charity will be designated at a later date.
