Gregory Dean Goodson

Gregory Dean Goodson died peacefully on June 27, 2024. He was born on December 27, 1945, to Cecil and Gladys Goodson in Lancaster CA. He graduated from Palmdale High School in 1963 and then served four years in the United States Army. Greg met and married his wife Marie Anne Peters, in Aberdeen, Maryland in 1969. After his discharge from the Army, they moved back to Lancaster, where they had their only child, Carrie. Greg worked in aircraft and at Westside Unified School District until he retired. They settled in Tehachapi in 1999.Greg loved Tehachapi and his hobby was always trains. He loved going to Tehachapi Loop with his family to picnic and watch the trains go through the Tehachapi Loop. Greg is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil, and Gladys Goodson. Greg is survived by his wife, Marie and their daughter, Carrie Champlin, and his grandson Jason Champlin. He leaves behind many beloved family and friends.
