Gregory Graves

Gregory Lee Graves, age 66, of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully
Surrounded in love by his family on Tuesday, February 20,2024 at UPMC Hamot. He was born In Erie on September 17,1957. Son of the late Rayfield and EverLee Arrington Graves.
Gregory enjoyed fishing, dancing and listening to all types of music, especially old school RnB and Rock roll.
He was known to be the best dancer in the house and a work a holic. He attended East High school and was employed with Hammermill Paper Company in Erie, PA. Upon moving to Detroit, MI., he furthered his career at Forrest Hills until his retirement.
Gregory was preceded in death by both parents and several aunts and uncles. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, 1 son; Gregory Dupree Graves (Grand rapids, MI). Sisters; Irene Stovall (Hurley,NY), Leslie Renee Graves (Harrisburg, PA) and Marlene Rita Thompson (Harrisburg, PA). Erie, PA), Brothers; Billy Joe Graves (Hurley, NY), Ray Charles Graves (Erie, PA), Michael Anthony Graves (Erie, PA), and Raymond (Kimberly Landfair) Graves (Madison, MS).
He also survived by his stepchildren; Kevin McClendon, Jermaine McClendon and Sharae McClendon. Aunts Mary Arrington and Jackie Arrington. A host of cousins and friends. Gregory will truly be missed by all his loved ones.
A public viewing will be held at House of Paradise Cremation & Funeral Home 701 East Avenue Erie, PA 16503 on Saturday, February 24,2024 at 3:00 p.m. until The time of his celebration of life service at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Owen Rhodes, Eulogizing. Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to House of Paradise Cremation & Funeral Services Inc.
