Gregory C. Holloway of Rockwall, Texas passed away on July 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Houston, Texas on November 17, 1959, to Velverna Holloway and Gertrude McGarity Holloway, Greg lived a life rich in faith, devotion, and service to others.
On July 16, 1981, Greg married the love of his life, Terry Gomez Holloway, in Dallas, Texas. Their union was a testament to enduring partnership, filled with shared adventures, deep faith, and unwavering love.
Greg was a proud and active member of Calvary Chapel Church in Garland, Texas, where he served passionately in many ministries, including mission work-always guided by a heart for others and a deep spiritual conviction.
Professionally, Greg dedicated over 40 years to Nikon Precision Inc., where he worked as a Technical Support Engineer. His precision, dependability, and quiet leadership left an indelible mark on colleagues and clients alike.
Greg was a man of many passions: he loved boating, playing basketball, working out, and golfing. He also had a rich musical background, having mastered several instruments including the bass guitar and tuba, and played in his high school marching band.
He is survived by his beloved wife Terry of Rockwall, his daughter Erica Buggs (Darrin) of Lancaster, TX, and his son Michael Holloway (Alexis) of Fate, TX. Greg was a proud grandfather to Briana Sargent, Braela Sargent, Daveon Sargent, Tylen Holloway, Mikayla Holloway, and Mia Holloway. He is also lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Yvette Mullally, Linda Gomez, and brother-in-law Johnny Gutierrez.
