Cynthia Stevenson Holloway

Cynthia Stevenson Holloway, 92, passed away on September 6, 2025. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia on June 26 1933 to Lee Roy and Catherine Stevenson. She was a 1951 graduate of Granby High School in Norfolk. Cynthia married John (Jack) C. Holloway in 1955. They lived in Texas while Jack finished serving in the Air Force. They then moved to Leesburg to raise their family. Cynthia worked as a legal secretary until retirement. She was active in the state legal secretary association for many years. She was a long-time member of Morrison United Methodist Church. She volunteered with the church and with an after-school program in the Carver Heights area for several years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching and cheering for the NV Yankees. Cynthia is survived by her husband of 70 years, Jack, son Michael (Barbara) of Fruitland Park, daughter Susan of Minneola, grandson Kevin (Heidi) of Winter Springs, grandson Brandon (Kristi) of Apopka, 6 great grandchildren and sister Jo Anne Stevenson of Norfolk VA. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow in the Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, 1123 West Main Street, Leesburg, Florida 34748 with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg, Florida. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Morrison United Methodist Church or to Cornerstone Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home of Leesburg, Florida.
