Gregory W Hulse

Gregory W Hulse 64 of Lakewood was promoted to heavenly status with his Lord & Savior on Friday June 7, 2024. Born and raised in Lakewood he resided in Lakewood his entire life. He earned his BS from Glassboro State College in 1982. He worked for the Monmouth County Dept of Health for 26 years as an Environmental Lab Director, Solid Waste Coordinator, Hazmat Responder and retired as Section Supervisor Environmental Compliance in 2013. He was an avid Mets & Giants fan, collected vinyl records, liked to shoot hoops, and play tennis and was a pitcher on many softball teams. He was a longtime Star Trek fan & enjoyed playing Star Trek Fleet Command. Greg gave his life to the Lord in 1996 and became a member of the Jackson Baptist Church. Over the years he volunteered in many ministries, including Kids Ahead, Choir, Missions, Deacons, Open Arms Food Pantry, Vacation Bible School and most recently was a church Elder and Administrative Assistant to the Pastors. He is predeceased by his father Alfred R Hulse in 2006. Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Patricia K Hulse, mother, Shirley R Hulse, 4 sons, Mark Pederson, Aaron Hulse & wife Danielle, Timothy Hulse, David Hulse, 2 daughters, Jessica Pederson and Kimberly Hulse & husband Kyle Simmons and 7 grandchildren, Sophia, Perlita, Olivia, Francesca, Harper, Franco & Mikaela. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday June 15, 2024, at Jackson Baptist Church.
