Obituary of Gregory Edward Jeanette
Gregory Edward Jeanette passed away on March 24th 2025 surrounded by loved ones at St. Lukes/Aspirus Hospital in Duluth, MN.
Gregory was born in Duluth, MN to Mary and Edward Jeanette. He graduated from Central High school in 1983. He went on to work as an electrician with the family business for many years, and then the IBEW 242 Union thereafter. He married his wife Tammy Jeanette of 30 years on September 17th 1994. In his spare time, you could find him in the woods hunting, knee deep in the water steelhead fishing, at the local bait shop Chalstrom's helping teach archery, wandering
Menards, searching for apple trees', and spending quality time with family. He was a kind, witty, caring man who was considered a gentle giant to most who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father Edward Jeanette and mother Mary Jeanette and in-laws John Young and Janice Young.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Jeanette, Children Austin Jeanette (Kelsey Dooley), Mariah Jeanette (Matthew Graves) Siblings Michelle Bubb, Anda Bellamy (Dick Bellamy), and Brad Jeanette amongst many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to give the biggest heartfelt Thank you to his amazing care team at
Aspirus St. Lukes. Because of their tremendous care given, they were able to precure organs and tissue and bless many recipients and their families with hope and a chance at life. Also, a huge thank you to John, Rick and all Greg's coworkers at DEC and the local IBEW 242.
Celebration of Life will be held on May 3rd from 2-6pm at Chalstrom's on Rice Lake Road.
