Gregory Dean Jensen

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Dean Jensen, a man whose warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Greg was born on July 2, 1974, in Towson, MD, and grew up in Daytona Beach, FL where he developed a deep love for the ocean and an unshakable passion for soccer. A proud Seabreeze High School alumnus, he played as #22 on their state championship soccer team, forging lifelong friendships along the way. He was a true "beach boy," happiest when surfing the waves, kicking a soccer ball, or laughing with friends.
Greg had an infectious energy and a heart open to all. He embraced life with exuberance, never met a stranger, and was always ready to lend a hand. His greatest joy came in finding his soulmate, Nichole, with whom he shared a beautiful life after marrying on October 23, 2016.
On January 25, 2025, Greg passed away peacefully at Halifax Hospital, surrounded by family and close friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Nichole Jensen; his parents, Gary Jensen and Kathleen Kohrt Rojak; his in-laws, Jeannie and Troy Edwards; his brother, Keith Jensen and his wife Judy; his sister, Carie Jensen Kilbourne; and his cherished nephews and niece-Will, Connor, Gavin, and Danika. His best friend and chosen brother, Iain Apostolos, will forever carry his memory. He will be missed by his beloved fur babies Nala and Meeka, who were his constant companions.
Greg's ashes will be scattered in the ocean off Ponce Inlet, where he found so much joy and peace.
Greg, your light, laughter, and love will never fade. Rest easy, dear friend. We love you always.
