I am deeply saddened by Janice's passing. I will miss our friendship that I enjoyed very much and deeply appreciated. I met Janice when she became a friend to my father, Al. Both were widowed of spouses they dearly loved. They forged a friendship of mutual support and companionship which helped them deal with the loss of their partners.
Janice was invaluable to me as she helped to form a circle of caring with my husband and me when my father's health deteriorated. She was strong. She cared about her family and friends. She was always first in line to lend a helping hand and offer guidance to the people she loved as they attempted to navigate difficult medical situations. I have never known anyone quite like Janice. In recent years we had a long-distance relationship held together with many 2-3-hour phone calls. I will miss hearing her voice. I feel blessed to have known and loved Janice. I treasured our friendship. I pray that she now rests peacefully in the loving arms of Jesus. Rest well, my dear friend. I loved you.
