I'm terribly sad to receive such horrific news about a dear, dear person! Greg was an excellent artist, a life-time learner, someone who truly appreciated the environment and a person who was always willing to help with understanding art or to offer support in any way! The world was a better place with him in it!

Greg was a supreme artist and was also supportive of me as an artist! He lived life to the fullest and encouraged others to do the same. I will miss his kind heart and energy!

Greg was a nice guy. Nice, talented, compassionate. We´ve been blessed to have them me as a neighbor. He was always ready to jump in and help. I had a third of a huge tree fall down in my front yard once and was bemoaning the cost of having it taken care of. Greg came over with his chainsaw, chopped it up and hold it off for me. If he saw us trying to do something in the yard, he would come over and help. Greg, you will be missed by the old lady across the street. Rest in peace.

Greg will always be remembered as a valuable volunteer docent at the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art, located on the University of Florida campus. His keen intelligence, extensive knowledge of art, and thoughtful, engaging tours will be greatly missed.
His monumental and moving sculpture at the Memorial to Survivors of Suicide at the Cofrin Nature Park in Gainesville is a perfect installation for that site, and is a testimony to the power of art to say what words often cannot.
My sincere condolences to all who loved & knew him.
