MOBLEY - Gregory Wayne Mobley, age 70 of Dacula, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. A Memorial service will be held at Bold Springs Baptist Church on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Allen officiating. Family will welcome friends and family 30 minutes before services begin, A devoted traveler and outdoorsman who found his greatest peace in nature. Born in Indiana but grew up on Lake Lanier, Greg spent his childhood in the water, where he first learned to swim and developed a lifelong bond with the lake. Throughout his life, he frequently returned to those familiar waters, finding joy in the quiet patience of fishing and the freedom of being out on a boat. A man of great endurance and appreciation for the natural world, Greg was an avid hiker who found solace and challenge on the Appalachian Trail and riding his Goldenwing. His love for exploration extended to the open road; after a dedicated 30-year career as a truck driver with Frito-Lay, he spent his retirement years on the water of Lake Lanier, fishing. He especially loved the vast landscapes of the American West. He is remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love for the outdoors, and the steady rhythm of a life well-lived. Greg is preceded in death by his mother Mildred (Garmon) Messer and father Robert Clyde Mobley but raised by Herb Messer. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Deborah (Hannah) Mobley, son Chris Corsaro, daughter LeAnn (Shawn) Johnson, grandchildren Dakota (Naomi) Edwards; Ally Johnson; Eli Johnson and Landon Corsaro, great grandchild Remi Edwards, sister JoAnn (David) Brooks, sister Bobbie Adamson, brother James Mobley, several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to Bold Springs Baptist Church. Arrangements made by Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road SW, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046. (770)-962-3100.
