SMITH - Bennie Lou (Vines) Smith, age 93, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Sunday January 11, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Lawrenceville, GA, on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Reverend Alex Wright and Dr. Ronald D. Dunning officiating. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens. Bennie was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Smith; son, Richard Smith; and parents, Catherine (Smith) & John Vines. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Smith, and James Smith; grandchildren, Kesha (Kevin) Hunte, Reba Smith, Robert Bryant; great grandchildren, Jason Smith, Tacorry Smith, Jasmine Williams; brother, Thomas Vines; and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
