He was preceded in death by his father, John Parsons, and mother, Madeline Parsons. Greg is survived by his best friend, partner of 30 and wife of 24 years, Jessica J. Parsons, and son, Wyatt Gregory Parsons, 17 of Bergheim, Texas. His siblings: brother, John C. Parsons and wife Barbara of Winston Salem, NC; brother, Donald J Parsons and wife Maureen of NY; sister, Theresa M Sannicandro and husband Robert of Sagamore Beach, MA; sister, Kathleen P. and husband Joseph T. Kane of Milford, MA; brother, Richard J. Parsons of Fall River, MA; and brother, James C. Parsons and wife Julie of Milford, MA; father and mother-in-law Dr. Jesse and Donna Baldwin of Boerne Texas; brothers-in-law, Darren Baldwin of Boerne, TX and Derek Baldwin of Scottsdale AZ; sister-in-law, Jayme and husband Shane Boscamp of New Braunfels, TX. He is also survived by his son Gregory Robert Parsons Jr., grandson Hunter and many nieces and nephews.
Greg graduated from Natick high school in Natick, Massachusetts, and went on to become a pilot in the Air Force serving as an FE on the C-5 where he served in Desert Storm. After leaving the military, he began his career as a pilot for commercial freight airlines, flying for Airborne Express and DHL. He worked his way up the ranks, retiring as Captain in 2021. He enjoyed his retirement working as a pilot for a medical transplant airline up until his passing.
Greg had a passion for aviation and for all things political. He was a wonderful conversationalist with a great sense of humor and well respected in the aviation community by his colleagues. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Ebensberger Fisher Funeral home in Boerne, Texas, at 2 PM.
