Gregory A. "Greg" Seaburn

Gregory A. "Greg" Seaburn, 68, passed away on Thursday March 26, 2026 at Woodside Village.

Born on May 10, 1957, Greg was the youngest of four children to the late Herbert E. and Betty J. (Kightlinger) Seaburn.

A 1975 graduate of Mt Gilead High School, Greg dabbled in insurance and car sales, was an orderly at Morrow County Hospital and most recently a tow motor driver at Wyandot Popcorn in Marion.

On March 5,1981, Greg married Rebecca Fulwell, a nurse at Morrow County Hospital, who was tragically killed and taken from him after only eight months of marriage. He attempted to make some normalcy to his life but the grief, anger and pain would haunt him for the rest of his life.

In December of 2019, Greg collapsed at his workplace and was hospitalized with a ruptured AVM in his brain which resulted in him being in long term care for the past 6 years. Complications and other pre-existing medical conditions he fought back time and again, but was unable to recover from his most recent illness. He was loved and will be greatly missed by many.

In addition to his parents and wife, Greg was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen; brother-in-law, Doug West; special cousins, Darlene (Hawk) Miley and Doug Hawk; and his fur baby, Vincent.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Randy (Jean) Seaburn; sister, Joyce West; special cousin, Becky Gornflo; and his #1 cheerleader, his niece, Lisa West; as well as friends, Gus Malone, Monty Ward, Jim Rizor, Jeff Brockelsby, Bob Shoults, Paula Piper and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Greg's family will greet friends from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Snyder Funeral Homes, Mount Gilead Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead. A service to honor and celebrate his life will take place there at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, with Tina McFarland officiating. Burial will follow at Claridon Cemetery. In honor of his memory, the family has requested that friends and family wear Cincinnati Reds, Bengals or OSU attire to his services as these were Greg's favorites.
