Gregory Whitney Tibbetts

Gregory Whitney Tibbetts passed away on January 6, 2025 in Boca Raton, FL, at 80 years old.
Gregory was born on March 7, 1944 in Seattle, Washington to his parents Forest Sidney Tibbetts and Jean Marie (Klinck) Tibbetts. He was raised in Caribou, Maine and served briefly in the U.S. Coast Guard. Much of his career was spent in the stereo and automotive sales fields. He loved his grandchildren, early mornings, cars of all kinds, boating, newspaper reading, library visits, fresh-squeezed Florida orange juice, and animals, especially his cat Boris. He had beautiful light blue eyes, a ready smile, and a wry sense of humor.
Gregory will be remembered by his children Christine Tibbetts Morrison, Robert Thomas Tibbetts, Barrett Brian Tibbetts, and Justin Gregory Tibbetts. Gregory was very proud of his grandchildren Florence Rose Morrison, Nathan Tibbetts, Annika Tibbetts, Brian Tibbetts, and Braxton Tibbetts. He is survived by his brother Mark Tibbetts and predeceased by his sister Linda Thimm and his brothers Reid Tibbetts and Jeff Tibbetts.
The family would like to thank two special friends of Greg's, Holocaust survivor Anya Baum and brother-in-law James Thimm, for their care and companionship to him over the past years.
Gregory will be interred at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Jefferson, NC. Donations may be made in Gregory's memory to the March of the Living, Southern Region. molsouth.org
