Roberta Diana "Vasquez" Pecoraro

Roberta Diana Pecoraro, 81, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026. She was born on March 14, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Frank and Gertrude (née Denny) Vasquez.

Roberta made South Florida her home in 2009, after spending much of her life in New York. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Pecoraro, with whom she shared 55 devoted years of marriage. Their bond was the cornerstone of her life, and her unwavering love and loyalty to him will always be remembered.

She is survived by her loving children, Richard Pecoraro Jr. (Elizabeth) and Jeanine Ariano (Neil); her brother, Richard Vasquez (Janet); and her adored grandchildren, Andrew, Richard III, Megan, Daniel, Michael and Gabriella, who brought her endless joy and pride.

Roberta found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved shopping, cooking for those she cared about, playing her slot machines, reading romance novels, and relaxing with her favorite Hallmark Channel movies. A devoted dog lover, she also treasured time spent with her grandchildren above all else. A passionate New York Rangers fan, she never missed the chance to cheer on her team.

Roberta will be remembered for her deep devotion to her family, her steadfast love for her late husband, and the warmth she brought into the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and family that will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
