Greta "Gay" (Dugger) Allen
87, of Camby passed away on August 18, 2025 at home. Gay was born on August 11, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Charles A. and Dora Linda (Rowe) Dugger.

Gay married the love of her life, Edward "Glenn" Allen, on December 8, 1956. Glenn and Gay formerly attended the Central Christian Church in Indianapolis and later Mt. Gilead Church in Mooresville. Gay worked as a clerk for the State of Indiana with the WICK program for about 10 years, before retiring. She enjoyed spending time in nature, visiting the ocean, reading, was a talented seamstress and an animal lover. She will be remembered as a wonderful, loving Mother and Grandmother, who had a great sense of humor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 68 years, Edward "Glenn" Allen and a brother Don Dugger.

She is survived by daughters, Sherri (husband, Patrick) McMonigle of Indianapolis and Laura (husband, Roger) Harris of Crestview, Florida; grandchildren, Ryan (wife, Jessica), Maggie, and Taylor; and great granddaughter, Mckenzie.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Gay's life on Tuesday, August 26th from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
