Mrs. Greta Jane Wooten Price, 91, of Moore Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was born December 14, 1933 to the late Jesse Sherrill Wooten and Vivian Gray Norman Wooten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ben White Price. Mrs. Price was a graduate of Appalachian State University with her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts. She was a retired school teacher. Mrs. Price loved traveling the world and visiting wineries. She was an avid collector of interesting wine bottles and beanie babies. Greta enjoyed watching college football and she was a season ticket holder at Broward Theatre of Performing Arts since 1980. She was a member of American Association of University Women, and an Original Committee Member of The Sheridan House for Boys. She is survived by her children, Benjamin Mark Price, Shari René Price-Barrett, Scott Edward Price; grandchildren, Marc Aaron Nudelberg, James Alton Barrett III, Jesse Lee Price, Kaylee Kristine Price-Gibson; great grandchildren: Brantlee Price, Kai Nudelberg, Charlotte Gibson, Remi Barrett, Julian Nudelberg, Carson Price, Sloane Barrett; brother, Norman Edward Wooten; and step-sister, Judy Williams. A graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Sunrise Cemetery in Jonesville with Rev. Roger Hensley officiating. The family would like to thank Caregiver Miriam Duncanson for the loving care shown to Greta and her family. Greta requested no flowers.
