Guadalupe Z. Elizardo, age 89 of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. She was born on October 06, 1933, to the late Vidal Salzar and Dolores Contreras. She was married to Antonio Torres and Isidoro Elizardo until their passing.
She worked as a cook. Guadalupe enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son Francisco Torres, Martha Torres, Guadalupe Torres, Candelaria Torres, Damaso Torres, and Maria Dolores Torres; her grandchildren Silvia Guadalupe Torres, Abelardo Torres, Veronica Perez, Francisco Antonio Perez, Karina Ibarra, Carolina Ibarra, Karen Ibarra, Arianda Ibarra and Paola Ibarra as well as a host of family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Guadalupe was preceded in death by her son Ruben Torres; her grandchildren Edar O. Torres and Ricardo Ibarra.
A Celebration of her life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 7p.m. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 5 to 7p.m. Burial will take place later in Matamoros, Mexico. To leave messages of sympathy and support go to www.paquelet.com
