Guadalupe Soza Obituary
Guadalupe H. Soza III, age 86, passed away Tuesday, October 07, 2025 in a local hospital surrounded by his loving family following a sudden illness. Guadalupe was born March 16, 1939 in Agua Dulce, Texas to Guadalupe Jr. and Francisca Soza. Guadalupe retired from the Corpus Christi Fire Department after 34 years of service. During his service as a firefighter, he and a fellow firefighter open a sporting store called All American Sports in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was also a long time member of the St. Francis of Rome in Agua Dulce, Texas and also served as a Knight of Columbus. Guadalupe enjoyed hunting big game in Colorado and building Monster Trucks with his son. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Elva Manrique, and his son-in-law Orlando Perez.
Survivors:
Wife of 65 years: Dolores Soza
2 Children: Emma Perez Soza and Guadalupe (Pamela Hernandez) Soza IV
5 Grandchildren: Deandrea Perez, Bonazzi Soza, Isidro Soza, Enzo Soza, and Victoria Perez
1 Great-Grandchild: Adelin Soza
1 Sister: Maria Soza (Mauro) Carbajal
1 Brother: Hector (Velma) Soza
