Guillermo "Billy" Martinez, age 51 of Pennsauken, passed away on September 25, 2024 at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden. He was born in Camden on July 29, 1973.
Beloved son of Jose and Gloria Maria (nee Cruz) Martinez; Devoted father of Lucas Anthony, Jacob Joe and Deborah Caitlyn Martinez; Loving grandfather of Isaac Lucas, Mila Rose and Jeremiah Martinez; Dear brother of Jose Martinez Jr. and Elizabeth Santana.
Bill was a union laborer with Local 172 in Trenton. He loved all sorts of music, anything military related and cooking for his family. He was extremely artistic and a die-hard Eagles fan. Bill loved spending time with his family and taking trips to Wildwood; watching The Godfather, History Channel, Band of Brothers and anything military related. He was a God-fearing man who frequently attended the "Congregation of Yahweh" which his brother Jose is pastor of. Bill will be remembered as a hard working provider and protector who stood firm on his morals and values and put the needs of his children above all else. He believed in doing quality work and displayed that with every task handed to him.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Sunday, October 6 from 10 AM to Noon at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be celebrated at Noon. Final disposition will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
