Gustav Kiener

Gustav Kiener, age 85, passed away peacefully on 10/28/2024 at his home in Palm City, Florida.
He was born in Oberthal, Switzerland and was married to Gertrud Kiener in 1963. They lived and worked in many places in Switzerland, and after his retirement in 2003 they immigrated to the United States and lived in Riverside CA close to the home of his son and his three grandchildren. He very much enjoyed the warm climate in California and loved to spend time outdoors, either in the pool or garden.
Gustav also had an unbreakable bond to his beloved Shepard Dog Zimba which was always on his side. In 2006 Gustav and his wife moved to Florida and settled in Port St Lucie where they lived until his wife passed away in 2011.
In 2016, Gustav moved to Palm City where he found new meaning in life and where he met a wonderful friend Christine Miglionico with whom he enjoyed spending a lot of time together playing golf and travelling to many different places.
He is survived by: (2) sons, Edward Kiener of Palm City, FL and Robert Kiener of Luzern, Switzerland.
He will be dearly missed by his immediate family and all. He is now looking down at us from Heaven. Services will be held in private.
