Gustave Frederick Merwin, Sr., a longtime Chatham resident, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, at Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center. He was 90 years old.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Gustave on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Madison Memorial Home, 159 Main Street, Madison.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., also at the Madison Memorial Home.
Interment will follow at the Fair Mount Cemetery, Chatham.
