Private family graveside services with honors will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Shane Ward, Sr., Shane Ward, Jr., Chase Ward, Walter Fausphoul, Justin Valentine, and Devin Gauthier.
Neal is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Katie Barron and a brother, Glen Barron.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 19 years, Billie R. Ward; sons, Shane Ward (Joy) and Darrell Ward (Mary); six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Neal joined the Navy at 18 years old on January 23, 1942, and was discharged December 28, 1946. He served in World War II. He had many jobs during his life. He was at a plumbing and heating company for 12 years, a general tire company for over 9 years, and m&m candy factory company for 12 years. He retired at the age of 62. At home he worked on building picture frames, repairing lawn mowers, cleaning for his friends and doing many other jobs for them. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
