My father knew Guy for many years as part of the body building community, I was first introduced to him in high school when I began lifting for softball- he always called me speedy. Fast forward to being 20 and entering Guys Gym for the first time in years and really being interested in lifting. Guy was my first trainer, and always wrote in my book from his little desk mid gym, something inspirational. I still have those notebooks and will never forget the impression he had on a young girl first entering the gym- not knowing anything. He was humble, accepting, and nonjudgmental, and only wanted to encourage others to put their fears aside and use the gym to create a healthier mind and body. His lessons have stayed with me for over two decades since I met him, and I appreciate the time I had to get to know him and the lasting impression he left on me. We will lift in your honor Guy! Thank you for being you and inspiring so many people.

Thoughts and prayers are with your family. Thanks for the good memories many years ago, hitting the heavy iron in your mom's garage and then the Hawthorne Gyms. Made me stronger than I ever thought I could be, and had some great insperational talks and memories in gym.

You were a tremendous athlete and a wonderful family man. I know where you are now. No more pain. Until I see you again.

Our deepest sympathy for the family. I haven't seen Guy in years but I will never forget his passion for coaching Jr State Colts. It was my sincere pleasure to call him my friend...RIP Nucci
