Guy Singletary Obituary

Guy Melvin Singletary, age 69, passed away on June 24, 2024. He was a graduate of Watkinson School, a private middle school and high school in Hartford CT, and the University of Hartford in Bloomfield CT. Guy's lifelong work and passion was as a missionary. He was associated with the Greater Grace Outreach Church in Baltimore MD. His missionary work took him all over the world. Azerbaijan was one of those memorable places. All who met him loved him.



Guy is survived by his father, John Singletary, and by his brother, Steven Singletary. Guy was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Archer Singletary. He leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and longtime friends. All will deeply miss Guy.

Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Final resting place will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. To share a memory of Guy or to extend condolences to the Singletary Family, please visit www.shakerfuneralhome.com.

Guy is with our Lord and Savior Jesus. No suffering or pain. We served together as missionaries in Azerbaijan and lived together in Baltimore for a season. He was much loved by people around him as he shared his love for God. We have been blessed by a life well lived.
