Blake was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia L (Patty) Kettles; his father, William B Kettles, Jr; brother, William B Kettles III and brother-in-law, James Pierce. Blake is survived by mother, Patricia L Kettles; sisters, Ruth Pierce and Barbara (Scott Sutton) Bates; the extended Kettles family; his mother-in-law, Lucy Rooney and the Rooney extended family.
Blake was born July 1, 1964 in Duluth, MN. He was a skilled auto mechanic for 30 years. Blake enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A private service and burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Animal Humane Society or to the ASPCA.

I knew Blake when he was a small boy in Duluth on Regent Street. I was a friend of his Mom, Pat. Been years since hearing from the Kettles family. I was so sorry to hear of Blake´s passing, and his brother, Lucky.
I´ve no contact info for Pat, but wanted to send condolences.

Blake and I became fast friends working together in the auto industry. He liked to call us the "Dream Team." I will miss him, his jokes, wit (218) and most importantly his friendship. Prayers to his mom and sisters. I am thinking of you at this difficult time.
