Haile Buran Cunningham

Haile B. Cunningham died peacefully at his home in Chandler, OK on October 30, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was 84 years old.
Haile married the love of his life Georgie Goodnight on April 2, 1960, in Sparks, OK. This union produced two children JR and Twila.
Haile was born on October 22, 1940, in Oklahoma City, OK. His family moved to Woodville, Mississippi shortly after to manage Cunningham Farms. When Haile was about 6 years old, they moved to Denver, Colorado. Then moving back to Chandler his sophomore year of high school and graduating with the CHS class of 1958. Following graduation Haile enlisted and served in the 45th Infantry Division & 95th Reserve Group, following his military career he went to work at the Ford garage in Chandler, OK. In 1960 he started his banking profession at the Union National Bank spanning the next 45 years finishing his career as President and CFO. His next business venture was owner/operator of Cunningham's Jewelry for the next 31 years before retiring completely.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Herbert and Helen (Willis) Cunningham.
Haile is survived by his wife Georgie of 64 years; son, JR (Kristy) Cunningham of Chandler, OK; daughter, Twila (Mark) Davis of Houston, TX; granddaughter, Kaylee of Chandler, OK; grandsons, Drew (Makenzi) of Stillwater, OK and Nick (Aaron) of Oahu, HI; great granddaughters, Hartley and Hollis of Chandler, OK.
Per Haile's request there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the Oklahoma Medical Cancer Research, 825 NE 13th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.
