Hamilton E. Whitney IV

Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother

PEPPERELL- Hamilton E. Whitney IV passed away at Brigham and Women's Hospital on December 10, 2025 after a brief illness. His loving family was by his side. Hamilton was born in Lowell, MA on February 18, 1976 to Hamilton E. III and Mary (Gouvia) Whitney. Hammy was educated in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Greater Lowell Technical High School. He then attended Florida Art Institute and went on to be a very talented designer. He worked as an electrical designer for over 10 years at NV5 in Andover. Hammy met the love of his life Miranda Archer and the two were married in Jamaica and shared over 10 years of marriage together. They made their home in Pepperell with their son Timmy and fully embraced the nature that was around them. They became bird watchers and hammy would spend many hours gardening and making their home beautiful. In addition to a green thumb, Ham was known for his cookouts with family and his special talent for making ice cream. It was something all family members looked forward to indulging in. Hamilton loved traveling and especially loved going to Jamaica- the site of his wedding. He was a fan of jazz and classic rock. When it came to events, Hammy could be relied upon to be the planner. He was a loving man and took very good care of his family. Hammy's gentle and caring soul will be missed greatly.

In addition to his wife Miranda Archer and son Timothy Archer, he is survived by his parents, Hamilton E. III and Mary (Gouvia) Whitney; his brother Michael Dube and his wife Melissa of Nashua, NH his sisters Sherry Whitney of Lowell and Sheila Prevost and her husband Jay of Lowell; father- in- law William MacBrien and his wife Natalie of Atkinson NH. He was the son-in-law of the late Nancy Archer
